"I am a former New York City Board of Education high school music teacher (pianist.) I am an avid chamber music player and New York City native who recently relocated to Hendersonville, NC. A graduate of Brooklyn College, I was the first-time recipient of the prestigious Charles Ives Award for Excellence in Musical Performance, and studied graduate level piano accompaniment at he Manhattan School of Music. I have assisted at the Metropolitan Opera House studios and have performed regularly in New York, as well as Europe and Israel. I was founder and co-founder of several chamber music ensembles, including "The Soiree Sisters, The Urban Stress Trio and co-founder and Musical Director of Handel With Care. Have also taught piano (all levels) at the Brooklyn Boro Park YMHA/YWHA for several years. Am currently a member in good standing of several music groups in Western North Carolina (AAPF and Parlor Players) and I perform regularly (as soloist and accompanist) at various venues (i.e. public libraries, Senior Citizens Residences, Master Works Theatre, in Hendersonville, et alia.
