"Hello, My name is Patrick. I've been tutoring since 1999. I started off working for a large test prep company and found myself traveling the world to tutor for them. During my time with the company I worked not only as a tutor, but I also managed the Asia office and the New York office. I also trained and wrote content for them. I left the company to pursue two graduate degrees, but I found myself constantly drawn to tutoring. I decided to convert my passion into my livelihood.

As a test prep tutor, I take great pride in what I do. I've taken the official ACT, SAT, and SAT Biology exams multiple times, and I consistently take the grad exams (LSAT, GRE, and GMAT) to make sure my strategies are still relevant.

I combine my knowledge of the tests with strategies I've developed over the years to help tailor a plan that works for each individual student. Not everyone is the same, and we all have our weakness'. My goal is to utilize the skills of each of my students and find a way that works for them.

I also have a score report system that allows us to analyze your practice test scores and not only assess where your weakness' are but also which questions could you have used our strategies. This will allow us to pinpoint gaps in not only your content knowledge but also on strategy.

My approach to the SAT/ACT/AP exam has three steps. 1.) Content- If your child does not understand certain concepts, then I will go over them. 2.) Strategy- Once the content portion has been we will focus on utilizing strategies designed to help answer questions with accuracy. At this stage, we are more concerned with accuracy and not speed. Answering a question quickly is not beneficial if you get that question wrong. 3.) Pacing- once you are accurate, we can start to work on speed and pacing. We will identify how many questions you need to answer in order to achieve your score. We will work on improving your pace.

I do not assume you know what you need to know to do well on the exam. My goal is to identify what you don't know and f" less...
