Experience: For the past 19 years, I have taught AP Economics (AP Microeconomics + AP Macroeconomics), IB Economics, IB and AP US History and AP Government/Politics, sociology and world history. My students successfully have been admitted to competitive colleges.

The Council for Economic Education (NY) videotaped me teaching model lessons for their "Economics in US History" instructional series. I stay updated by regularly attending their workshops, as well as those sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of NY.

I teach the social sciences like a meaningful story with relevance to our lives. The key to understanding concepts is to apply them to real world situations. My students have been successful through simulations such as the E Congress, the Fiscal Ship, and the Stock Market Game. I teach through active, hands on learning.
