"I'm a Middle school math and science teacher with a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology. I've always liked going outside, skywatching, wandering the woods, math puzzles, board and video games, traveling, photography, singing, and other geeky pursuits.

Majoring in Meteorology meant a lot of math. I completed math courses up through differential equations (Calc 4). With two degrees and years of experience as an informal educator/presenter at museums, nature centers, and science centers, I was hired at a private K-12 school teaching Elementary math and science. After 5 years there, I moved on to my current bilingual French school where I have been teaching middle school math and science for 7 years. I teach Earth Science, Biology, Physics, and middle school math including Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. I started tutoring with Wyzant at the beginning of 2021 and have now tutored in middle school math, algebra 1, SAT math , ACT math and science, Praxis math and science, and Word.
