"In addition to getting good grades, there are two main ways you can distinguish yourself in law school. One involves writing or contributing to articles for your school's law journal. The other is to be successful in oral arguments and making your school's moot court team. I did the latter and also served as a the law chair of the student senate.

Following law school, I continued my focus on finding the most persuasive arguments and helped first as a judicial clerk, then as an associate for a small brother/brother firm in Allentown, then when that firm split, I opened my own practice. I enjoyed success in all aspects of the legal profession, from developing effective discovery and pleadings, to motions practice, to hearings, depositions and trials, to success in all levels of Pennsylvania's appellate courts, several federal courts and even had one matter go to the U.S. Supreme Court, several times. I can pepper practical tools for learning with meaningful insights from the wide array of legal experiences I have enjoyed. I have the patience of a saint and am adept in understanding how to help people learn in ways that will stay with them effectively.
