"I hold dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology (graduating summa cum laude) and I am an attorney. While I was in college, I balanced honors classes and student leadership positions. One of my favorite parts of mentoring younger students was seeing them be successful and the confidence that resulted from that success. I found that I had particular knacks for helping students adjust to college life and proofreading essays. I am a tough proofreader, but I always make sure that I deliver my suggestions in a positive manner and remind my students that I believe in their abilities to be amazing writers.

Mentoring students has always brought me joy. Sometimes those mentorships just involved building their confidence that they can do well academically, but a lot of the time it involved some level of tutoring.
