"I am an outdoor writer whose stories have appeared in numerous hunting and fishing magazines. My two books have become "must have" books for outdoor enthusiasts. As a young writer, my first published story, "Wings," appeared in Utah's Valley Magazine in 1976. In 1993, I won the national Outdoor Life Book Club Short Story Competition, which marked my path as an author. I have three additional books that will be published in 2019-2020. I love teaching others the value of outdoor stewardship through writing. I am also a licensed hunting and fishing guide, and regularly conduct seminars for Kentucky State Parks. I own and manage a company that incorporates all of my interests.
