"I am a WA certified educator with over 30 years experience. I have a BA (major in Art/Photography and minor in Language Arts). I received my education training and original certification from Cal State and I also have a masters in curriculum development. I am a trained Reading Recovery Specialist. I have spent over 25 years in the classroom (grades 3-9) and five years as an interventionist for grades 4-6 and a Reading Recovery Specialist, supporting the literacy needs of struggling kindergarten, first, and second graders. I have taught in California, Texas, Washington, and overseas. My lessons are individualized, geared to the specific needs of each student.
