"After graduating from millersville University with a degree in Psychology I began working at Cape May County Special Services School District. There I discovered my love of teaching and continued my education to become certified in both Elementary and Special Education. I have taught nearly all ages, abilities and subjects during my 30 year career.

I truly believe that Reading is the core to all learning therefore I have dedicated most of my career to teaching children to read and continually increase those skills. I have found that a multi sensory approach works best. It is also important to include a variety of activities and games during each tutoring session. This keeps my students motivated and actively engaged at all times. As I have recently retired from teaching my schedule is quite flexible.
