I have been teaching resource since 2004 where I work with students with all disabilities, including ADHD. I have found if you allow students to move or sit in specialized chairs, wobble cushions, or have a ton of patience then the student is more successful. Special Ed certification in multi-categorical special ed 3-21. I have run a Special Needs classroom for 5 of my 18 years along with creating materials in different modalities for students with special needs. Students need frequent positive reinforcement, and need to know when they will get a break.
