"As a retired federal Administrative Law Judge, I have mentored many young lawyers over the past 40 years. I recall the simultaneous enthusiasm and discouragement of being a law student and trying to understand difficult subjects, and approach questions with that understanding.

As a trial lawyer for 20 years before being appointed to the bench, I have done it all, from murder defense to music copyright infringement. I truly enjoy sharing knowledge with eager students.

I majored in English at the University of Oregon and as a lawyer and Judge, I have written extensively.

I passed the Bar examination the first try and have kept abreast of changes in the law since. I believe I have a deep understanding of legal subjects across the range of those tested on the LSAT.

My 40 years' experience as a trial lawyer, NAVY JAG Officer, and federal Administrative Law Judge make me uniquely qualified to teach law.
