"Hello, I'm Denise, a retired middle school teacher who has the time, patience, and desire to assist students who are struggling academically. Many years ago, I graduated college with a B.S. (psychology) first and later earned an MBA. I actually enjoy being a student and would make it a career if it was financially rewarded.

My career began in the field of developmental disabilities where I have held every position from teacher to C.E.O. Special needs students still hold a unique place in my heart and helping them achieve success is a personal strength. The last 10 years of my fulltime career was spent teaching K-8 in a public school where I have taught every subject from algebra to music.

My philosophy is: everyone can learn when allowed to learn at their own pace and using techniques which are customized to suit their learning style.
