"I was a teacher for 15 years, and my priority was always to teach my students to learn how to learn. My dual certification teaching license was for English/Special Education, but I'm also Highly Qualified in Science and Social Studies. I'm also a published freelance writer.
I emphasize the fact that each student may learn differently; whenever possible, I go through a brief overview of left brain/right brain analysis, and an informal learning style assessment. If your goal is to pass a test (GED, SAT), that is what I will help you achieve. However, my priority is not "teaching to the test", but rather creating lifelong learners, teaching students the critical thinking skills so often overlooked in contemporary education.
I have a very flexible schedule, and I'm more than happy to communicate via email or a phone call any time there's a question or an issue.
I look forward to assisting you, and don't forget... Carpe Diem!" less...
