"I have extensive experience teaching high school students in business, marketing and health occupations. I have taught online pharmacy tech to high school students and have COLT certification (Carolina Online Teacher) through UNC. I have worked with several students one on one to help them successfully complete coursework and graduate with goals to continue their schooling afterwards.

I have also taught online at the university level for 14 years in nursing, business, management and information management. I have also successfully helped 41 nurses to regain their licenses after their practice has come to the attention of the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Currently I work half time at Duke University Medical Center where I work in employee health.

I have a broad experience from staff nurse to director of nursing, along with 6 years formal teaching experience at the high school level (formerly certified in 3 areas - health occupations, business and marketing). I also have 14 years university level teaching experience in nursing, business, management and marketing.

My education and experience uniquely qualify me to teach students patiently and through practical examples.
