"Hi! My name is Sagar and I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and double minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. My career aspiration is to become a surgeon and currently have an interest in orthopedics and neurosurgery. In order to ensure trust and credibility, I attended STEM Early College at NC A&T State University, an high school where I finished the main high school courses during my first two years and took a wide variety of college courses at NC A&T State University. Based on my experiences in high school and the college courses I took at NC A&T and UNC at Chapel Hill, I realized that whenever I performed well according to my expectations and felt passionate about what I was learning, it was the teachers and professors that inspired me.

I put a heavy emphasis on understanding not only the subject matter with interest, but also knowing how to enjoy learning the material while retaining the knowledge in an efficient way. My approach is to utilize lesson plans and study guides that clearly state what is intended to be accomplished and tactics to effectively remember the knowledge. I think this is the key to success in any subject matter and heavily lie in my values of being able to help engagingly, focused, pleasant, comfortable and above all, providing my best effort until I have been able to help. My goal is to create an environment of strong self-confidence, courage to tackle any question, and strong communication from me to ensure goals are reached!

My approach is to ensure that all students understand the content with confidence and not be afraid of the complexity of various problems, since I believe there is always a way to answer a question with your knowledge no matter who you are!
