"Hello! I’m Rogan, a college graduate with dual majors in Neuroscience and Philosophy. I graduated magna cum laude and achieved departmental honors in Philosophy. I am currently working in healthcare while I await medical school to begin. In the past year, I have taken the MCAT, scoring well, and been through the medical school admissions process. I have learned not just what it takes to do well on the MCAT, but how to have fun while doing so as well.

As a former pre-med student, I have a lot of experience in a wide range of sciences, from biology to physics to zoology. I have been a teaching assistant in organic chemistry and in cellular neurobiology, and know how to best get students to quickly understand and learn complex material.

I also have a degree in Philosophy, and have taught Ancient Greek philosophy to college students. This background has allowed me to develop a strong ability to quickly be able to interpret, synthesize, and comment on dense analytical writing.

As someone with no background in the sciences until college, I know how difficult in can to have to play catch-up to peers that seem to quickly understand material that seems alien to you. I know how to best become engaged and understand new topics, and love being able to help other people get to a similar point.
