"Hi! My name is Taylor. I'm a soon-to-be Social Studies teacher for grades 6-12. I just recently took and passed the Praxis exam with a 176, demonstrating content knowledge in the subject. I graduated from the State University of New York- College at New Paltz with a BA in Journalism, concentration in PR and an informal minor in International Relations, but always had a passion for History.

I am a mom to a little boy who will turn 2 in September. It is one of my greatest accomplishments being able to watch him learn and grow as a person. I know how important it is to provide your child with every opportunity to learn and succeed. I take great pride in being part of the journey and have since I tutored in high school.

I have a degree in Journalism, which has prepared me to tutor English and other related subjects. I have a passion for writing and for teaching others how to expand their vocabulary, proof-read and also find their "voice".

My informal minor was in International Relations which studies the history, geo-political and cultural aspects of nations and how they interact with each other.

I can also prove my mastery of the subject by furnishing my Praxis exam scores.
