"I have one year of college tutoring experience and many more years of informal tutoring of my younger sister and friends. As a writing tutor at my university's writing center, I learned how to effectively work with students of all levels and English-speaking abilities. I learned how to help students improve their writing skills and make them feel confident in their work, no matter where they are in the process. I absolutely love teaching and helping students find their writing voice. There is nothing better! I also have experience as a summer camp counselor- I cared for kids between the ages of 4 and 16.

I have a B.A. in Political Science, with a concentration in poverty, inequality, and development. This is a very writing intensive major.
