My name is Michelle and I enjoy helping people learn different skills that I enjoy doing. I am a current full-time college student studying Information Technology with a specialty in System Security (graduating in May 2013). I have been 'tinkering' with computers since the Commodore Vic 20 and the Apple IIe have been around. I have progressed through Windows 3.0, 3.1, 95, 98, and XP (to which I still use today). I skipped over Windows ME/2000/NT. If you are a beginning computer user and would like to know how to use a computer, do simple repairs, and minor troubleshooting, - I feel that I have plenty of experience to help you out. (Please don't ask me to help subnet a network or anything like that yet! haha).

If you are interested in getting into shape, I can help you learn the basic fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do, which is a Korean Martial Art. It involves kicking, punching, and blocking. (I hold a 2nd degree black belt in this art).

If you've always been interested in learning how to play chess, but never knew how the pieces moved or it seemed too complicated - don't give up hope! It is quite simple and is an enjoyable game once you grasp the basics.

I like to teach 'hands-on', as I am a visual and hands-on learner. I enjoy explaining things as I demonstrate an activity, then pause for any questions or reinforcement if necessary. I am very patient and respectful.
