My approach is straightforward and effective: I empower college and medical school applicants to speak in their own unique voice. We don’t look at “successful” essays by other applicants because that would be like imitating a fingerprint. We do spend time brainstorming. We do spend time drawing out an engaging story. Then the writing flows naturally.

I am a natural storyteller who has worked as a journalist, screenwriter, and award-winning filmmaker. Having directed Oscar-winning actors, I am comfortable coaching public speaking and application interviews. My most impressive credential, though, is helping raise four college-educated children, so I know a few things about young minds and how to bring out the best in them. There is no more valuable endeavor and no greater satisfaction.
