"Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I member of the Stanford Law School class of 2024. I am completing a masters in education at Stanford.

I graduated summa cum laude from Amherst College with a double major in History and Spanish. At Amherst, I was a member of the club soccer team and a Spanish tutor. I am passionate about education and writing, and I am a huge fan of the U.S. Women's Soccer Team.

I have been tutoring students in Spanish, History, and Writing since I was a sophomore in high school. I started tutoring the LSAT during my senior year of college. My favorite part of tutoring has always been watching students become more confident in their own abilities.

On Wyzant, my primary tutoring focus is LSAT preparation. I have developed methods to help with accuracy and speed on every section. For analytical reasoning, I teach four diagrams that can be used to help visualize the passage and answer any question. While teaching the diagrams, I also give students tips and tricks that help them to answer questions faster. For logical reasoning, I show students a four-step process that helps them to identify what the question is asking, eliminate wrong answers, and find the correct answer based on the question. In reading comprehension, I focus on a targeted reading strategy that helps students to find the important information in the passage their first time reading it, which helps to save time and improves accuracy. I then focus on different question types, and give students information on what they should be looking for based on the question type.

After meeting with a student, I always personalize my lessons to the student's prior experiences and knowledge, and I only focus on the strategies that work well for the student.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in scheduling a lesson. I look forward to meeting you!" less...
