"My name is Lazaro and my passion in life is teaching. I born in Cuba and experienced great academic achievement at school and at university in the US due to my high interest level in learning and amazing teachers. I did my teaching career at Nova Southeastern University and graduated in Special Education, teaching a range K-12 student with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Physically Impaired, Profoundly Mentally Handicapped, and Emotional Behavior Disorders. I taught a variety of subjects such as teaching Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Life Skills. In addition, I spent seven years teaching ESOL for levels 2, 3 & 4 for students coming from different foreign countries in the world and helping them to adapt themselves in a new life environment. In addition, supporting students to achieve their barrier understanding the English language to succeed their lives in the US. I have been tutoring in Homestead, FL night school program and at Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services in Fort Myers for two years.
