"I am a teacher and coach at a Chelsea High school. I have also taught at the High schools Greenville, Vincent and McAdory. I live in Columbiana, Al. In my past time I like to play golf and I also do baseball lessons. The only tutoring experience I have is the tutoring I have done for students at my schools. This is my first tutoring job outside of my High schools. I am really looking forward to tutoring students and helping them be successful in math and science.

The things that I think make me an outstanding tutor is first I have a passion for working with kids. I enjoy knowing I have taught them things so that they can be successful. The second thing is I think I have a gift in making difficult concepts easier to understand. I teach them to think in steps rather than looking at the math problem as a whole. Thinking correctly is the most important part of doing math.

As far as science goes, I enjoy teaching science because science explains everything that happens in our world. I use everyday situations to teach it because students relate better to things they are familiar with. I also try to do demonstrations when I can to help those that may learn visually. Like Math, I also have the ability to take the more difficult science concepts and break them down to more easier manageable concepts so that they can understand them better.
