"Hi, I'm Tom! I'm a classicist and linguist who earned my PhD from UC Berkeley in 2015. I've served as Director of the Berkeley Intensive Summer Workshops in both Latin and Greek, and have taught a variety of Latin and Greek language and literature classes as a lecturer at Berkeley and Stanford, from beginning grammar to graduate-level syntax and prose composition.

Languages have been my passion since early childhood, and I love sharing that passion with students. I tailor my teaching approach to each student's specific needs, whether it's reviewing forms and vocab, introducing new concepts, teaching study strategies, or reading texts together.
