"I began teaching a 5th grade class of highly gifted students. They have special needs and skills when learning. I did this for 2 years and then transferred to a school site that was on a traditional schedule (Sept-June) when my young son started school. My new assignment lasted 16 years where I taught math, science and computers at the middle school level. I taught about 220 students every day and view each child as unique in ability and desire. I aim to have students love learning as I do.

Since teaching is a second career for me, I also bring varied life experiences having worked for Kraft Foods and enjoyed traveling. I will love and care for your student as if he/she were my own. I recently relocated from California and enjoy tutoring students individually or in a small group. Currently, I am tutoring children with special needs and caring for my mother. I am active in my church choir and in the Sunday School program there. Life in Seminole is good and I look forward to meeting you soon.

I have quite a bit of flexibility in scheduling a time that works for you. The library at SPC is a quiet and lovely place to meet.
