"I've always wanted to be a teacher. Therefore, after being laid off from GM, I had the opportunity to go back to school and earn a M.A. in education. After earning my degree, I was fortunate enough to find work in a small Catholic school, and then went on to find a teaching position with the Detroit Public School system. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I had to stop working.

From experience, I have found that it's important to evaluate a student first, prior to tutoring on any subject. This evaluation will help me understand why a student is having trouble in a particular area, and what steps to take to help them overcome the problem.
