"Hello, my name is Abraham and I am currently applying for medical schools this year. As a non-traditional student, I understand that the path towards medicine is not a straightforward. I have battled the tortuous path of being a "pre-med student" and, after many trial and error experiences, have achieved stellar marks in my collegiate classes as well as my MCAT score.

I empathize with students and their struggles to learn abstract concepts and that has fostered my passion for teaching and tutoring students that have been in my shoes. I have worked with students at an undergraduate level teaching elementary physics and at a graduate level teaching gross anatomy or biochemistry. Though I can't say I remember every detail I've learned in class, I am confident in my ability to adapt so that my students simply do not memorize but understand concepts.
