"I am Iris, a bilingual (English – Spanish) Industrial Engineer from Venezuela. Mathematics and Chemistry have always been my favorite subjects. I was the one explaining the topics to my friends and classmates at the University when we met to study for any test.

I taught Mathematics and Physics at a University in my country, helping students to see these subjects in an easy way. My secret is to explain the steps to solve a problem in the simplest possible manner, and I can do it in Spanish if you need it.

What I learned during my high school and University years was that my best teachers were those that made me think, read, and analyze. That is exactly what I try to do when I explain something to a student. I want students to read carefully and picture the problem in their head and figure out the easiest way to solve it.

I have patience and perseverance to explain the solution to a problem. About Excel, I have worked with that program for more than 20 years, consequently, I know how to create databases, pivot tables, and charts, among others.

Spanish is my native language, I studied it for 11 years, I know and follow grammar and orthography rules.
