"Hi, my name is Alisa, and I'm a linguaholic!

I’m originally from Russia where I majored in linguistics and interpreting of Russian, English, and French. I started teaching English as a private tutor in 2003, and from 2008 to 2010 I worked as an English instructor at a private language school in Russia. This is where I realized that teaching is what I’m most passionate about. I absolutely love it!

In late 2010 I became the manager and director of studies at a different private language school where I continued teaching English and developed new teaching methods and techniques. In 2012 I moved to the United States where I started teaching Russian (all levels) and continued teaching English.

I know that learning a foreign language can be very challenging, and I want to help you make it a fun and rewarding experience!

Tutor Policies (effective January 1st, 2019):

1. Piano classes are $35 for a 30 minute lesson. Russian and English classes are $50 per hour.

2. If you choose to end a session early, for any reason, you will be charged for the full scheduled session.

3. All cancellations must be made at least 36 hours prior to the scheduled start time, otherwise a cancellation fee (full scheduled session fee) will be assessed." less...
