"Hi everyone!

My name is Galina and I would love to help you with your tutoring needs!

I’ve been a tutor for about 15 years and have helped 50+ students in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, chemistry, and physics. Some have been shorter engagements while others have evolved into multi-year ongoing support through high school and early college. My main goal is to help the student build confidence and to succeed. I tailor my teaching approach to the student's needs, whether it is preparing for a test or helping throughout the school year. I know the material well enough to teach it or just be there to give hints as the student works through the problems on their own.

I got my bachelors in Chemical Engineering and got my Masters in Business. I have a full time 9-5 job where I develop curriculums and teach adults, so I’ve been able to evolve my career to incorporate my passion for teaching others. Tutoring is something I do after work and I ensure to never have more than 4 students at a time so that I can remain flexible to schedule urgent sessions due to assignments and tests.
