"My name is Elizabeth. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, Minor in English/Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida. As a Writing Consultant in the Writing Center, I assisted students in editing their essays. I became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. After graduation, I edited master's program papers, became a free-lance copy editor, and edited a young adult fiction novel. In 2005, I began tutoring one on one and have continued to this day. I said "yes, of course." Her daughter was so excited as she ran up the steps to my place. I worked with her on reading comprehension 4 days per week, 1 hour each day for 2 months. I assessed her skills at summer's end, and she scored 3.0. I wrote a letter to the school, and the little girl began 3rd grade in the fall.
