"I am very excited to be able to have the opportunity to share my knowledge of music with the world. I have taken private classical piano lessons for 11 years, and have studied privately in classical vocal technique for 6 years. I will be attending UW Madison this fall for music with a focus in opera.

I have decided to take a year off in between high school and college to travel. During a solo trip to Seattle and Canada, I discovered my passion for teaching and sharing music with others. During my stay in Canada, I babysat two young girls and taught them voice lessons daily. They loved it! More importantly, this helped me decide to apply for music school for the fall of 2016.

My tutoring method is basic. First, I would like to get to know the best way your child learns. For me, I am a auditory learner, and I appreciate having a teacher with me to talk and walk me through technique and theory. Then, I will specifically shape the way I teach your child based on their learning style. I like to have fun while learning, so many games and analogies will be used to create a learning environment that doesn't seem uptight, but it is loose while maintaining structure with learning capacity.

I am also available to help students study for ACT tests and can administer review sessions and share helpful advice. I am willing to teach any subject to young children, and have very good credibility through maintaining a 3.9 GPA throughout high school and achieving a 30 on my ACT, all while taking rigorous musical courses and working two jobs.
