"Every since I was a young girl I loved history. I was always interested in what happened in the past. While math always gave me problems history came easier for me. Starting in the 10th grade I was placed in honers leveled history courses.

I graduated from Hofstra University with a history degree, minoring in secondary education. Just after graduating I tutored for the Hofstra tutoring center for about five years. Starting in the early 90's i began to work with Syosset Homebound Tutoring. There I mostly tutored high school students.

These students were home bound due to either suspensions or an illness or an injury. I have helped students prepare for not only midterms and finals but the regents as well. It's all well and good to know we signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th 1776 but the real value is knowing and understanding how it impacted such countries France and Ireland. And I love the fact that as tutor I get the opportunity to bring" less...
