"I am a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Integrative Human Biology with a minor in Ethnobotany. I have taken many courses in biology, chemistry, math, and spanish. I understand the struggle of learning difficult concepts in a demanding environment, and I have learned many techniques to be a successful student and live a healthy balanced life. I am new to this website but tutored many classmates in many different subjects: biology, microbiology, chemistry, algebra, spanish, and SAT and AP testing.

I have taken a multitude of standardized tests, including AP, SAT, and SAT Subject Tests, and offer test preparation in these areas. I scored in the top 10% of the SAT and scored 5's on AP exams. I also graduated as valedictorian of my competitive high school class.

When tutoring students, I always like to see the material a day or two in advance, so I can give the best possible explanation for a problem and provide relative information that contextualizes the information. If you're struggling with learning difficult concepts, that's okay! I am patient and will work to find different tools to reinforce concepts that we went over in our tutoring session.

As a tutor, I strive to create an environment where learning can be looked forward to and provide lessons that last. I believe any student can be successful both with a tutor and beyond if they receive the tools and skills necessary to be a prosperous student.
