I'm an adjunct professor teaching awesome students the subject of mathematics. My prior experience has included:

- being a High School STEM teacher focused on Math, Computer Science, and Robotics;

- a Mathematics Teaching Assistant at a prestigious, local college;

- a Robotics Instructor with Johns Hopkins University as well as a FIRST FTC Coach/Volunteer/Judge and

- a Volunteer with Junior Achievement and AmeriCorp tutoring 'at risk' students.

I received my Masters Degree in Mathematics Education at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) (2019), my BS in Secondary Education - Mathematics (2014) as well as Computer Science (1986). My college experience included tutoring college students through the Center for Teaching and Learning. I was also privileged to run a summer math program as part of the college's Crispus Attics Scholarship program.

I've been a husband for 38 years and father for 35. I've been teaching in some form since 1986. I was a nationally ranked swimmer (freestyle sprints) as well as a high school swimming/diving coach. My prior work experience was quite diverse and included working for global, fortune 50 companies. I have also enjoyed international public speaking assignments in Europe.
