"EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

I have several years experience teaching Middle School math and science. I am currently in my 8th year of teaching. I have taught 5th grade science in a traditional classroom but I have also taught 6th grade science, 8th grade math and high school math (a mix of algebra and geometry concepts) in a virtual setting for 2 years now. I have a degree in Middle Childhood Education and am certified in Ohio and South Carolina.

I love math and am well versed in common core for middle school and upper elementary. I cannot guarantee to improve your grade but if you are willing to learn, I am willing to help you get better at math specifically related to your course work and maybe things that are not.

I enjoy science because you can see it working everyday. I am still learning more complex topics everyday and that will help me teach it to students if I do not have a sound background already. I enjoy that science is interactive and also that it relates to math.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

I currently ask for at least a 1 hour notice for any cancellations. I am willing to reschedule always, just send a message before the lesson time or within the first 15 minutes, without being charged. If I do not hear from you to cancel at least 1 hour before the scheduled lesson time, or receive a message to reschedule up to 15 minutes into the scheduled lesson time, you would be charged a cancellation fee of up to full price of the expected scheduled lesson.
