"Hey everyone! I'm a web developer who's been in the industry for about 5 years now. The main technologies and languages I use are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with React / jQuery as well as PHP and Node.js. I've built countless applications both on my free time and for the various companies I worked for. These range from simple websites to full scale applications that serve tens of thousands of people every day. During the past few years, I've been slowly transitioning into a senior role where my goals are split between building upon the application my company currently uses as well as mentoring junior level employees. As I've been slowly easing into the role, I found that I love tutoring and being able to help others understand and navigate the world of web development and software in general. I think that tutoring is a very satisfying job and think that Wyzant would be great to reach a bigger audience beyond junior level employees.

Prior to Wyzant, I've also been in mentorship and tutoring roles all my life. Although not in a professional environment, I've helped people ranging from elementary school students to college students and beyond. I was also a teaching assistant (TA) in my university for several courses during my undergraduate studies. With all this experience, I think that I am more than capable of assisting my students with anything in regards to web development. I also think that I can tailor and adapt my teaching style to each of my students so that they have the highest potential of learning.

I've been programming for over 10 years now, with 5 of those years in an professional environment for various companies. During that time, I've programmed in many different languages and have had to accomplish many different tasks all of which has made me to be a better programmer. Beyond my programming skills, I also believe that I have the ability to close the gap in terms of communication to anyone whether they're a student, a coworker, or even someone who has no technical experience.
