"I am a native speaker of Spanish and Portuguese and am fluent in English as my parents are of South American decent. As a former Graduate Teaching Assistant teaching Spanish 111 and 112, I have experience teaching and tutoring students of diverse ages, backgrounds and skill levels. I am able to assist with those students seeking specialized coaching in order to learn vocabulary, conversation and grammar in both English and Spanish. I am able to teach Portuguese at a more basic level. My other competencies include abilities to assist students with a variety of subjects like English Grammar, Literature, History and Culture.

I am pleased to assess the tutoring needs of each student in order to establish goals for tutoring sessions that are arranged with their active participation and input. Each session will have a goal to be met. As these goals are attained, progress can be discussed and assessed at the beginning and end of each session.
