"As a professional writer, storyteller, and world traveler, I've become a master at communication and words use. As you will see, I have a wide range of work and life experiences that have shaped me into an open-minded person, a great teacher, and a fun-loving soul. Not only did I teach ESL in Chile for awhile, I also taught a wide range of subjects and activities before that.

I was a raft guide, ski instructor, Outward Bound Wilderness Instructor, climbing guide, and sea kayaking/canoe instructor. If there's one thing I'm great at, it's showing people how to do things they're uncomfortable with. Having been trained in improv and comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC, I'm able to use these skills to make the learning environment more fun for everyone. Humor helps people remember things way better than boring lessons do. I look forward to meeting and teaching each and every one of you.
