"I offer specialized training in writing, career development, photography and journalism. I have over 30 years of experience as a writer, photographer, teacher and administrator. I have worked for several newspapers, magazines and universities.

I have taught English, journalism and photography and had my work published throughout the state of North Carolina, the East Coast and in other countries. I have developed my own system of writing and improved writing test scores in four counties in the state.
