"I am currently an instructional technologist at the University of Tennessee, remotely supporting technology use for language teachers and students, writing research papers, copyediting dissertations, and tutoring French students wherever possible. My background includes more than two decades of French instruction via hybrid and online courses as well as living in France for a total of five years. I love exploring the French language and cultures and can help you find the "hook" that will make your exploration of French much more personal, enjoyable, and meaningful. I have taken standardized tests from the ACT to the GRE. In my tutoring experiences (both freelance and with prominent tutoring companies), I have had great success in helping students unlock the secrets of the ACT by understanding that all assessments are essentially like games. The more you know about these and how to use them to your advantage, the more likely you are to improve your scores on each section of the ACT.

Before I fell in love with languages and technology, I was very adept in math, and studied up to Calculus II in college. I still work with statistics daily and I know that giving you 5-10 key formulas and how they present themselves on the ACT test will give you a real boost.
