"While my degree is in early childhood/elementary education from Temple University in Philadelphia, I have spent over 20 years working as a writing professional in the rail/transit industry. I enjoy working with children and feel that learning to communicate thoughts clearly, concisely, and creatively helps to ensure children achieve success and gain confidence. A strong foundation of grammar and writing skills helps children have a more successful and gratifying school experience which follows them throughout their lives.

I have also been a professional writer/editor for engineering consulting companies, developing, writing, proofreading, consolidating, and producing documentation such as specifications, operating and maintenance manuals, proposals, grants, and training materials. My skills include setting up documentation, coordination multiple documents, and working with manuals to produce training materials.

I enjoy working on both ends of the spectrum, and I feel that my experience helps me to connect the basic knowledge and skills learned at the elementary level to the ultimate outcome of high-quality writing later in life.
