I currently teach full-time at the college level. I have taught Expository Writing, Argumentative Writing, Literary and Cultural Analysis, and British Literature. Other interests and areas include World Literature, Shakespeare, and Women's Literature. I received my Master's (4.0 GPA) in English from Louisiana State University in 2008. While there, I also completed all PhD coursework (total of 110 graduate hours). While in Baton Rouge, I led ACT Prep (English, Reading & Writing) for local high school students. I taught college courses in composition, drama, Shakespeare, British literature, and women's literature. I received my Bachelor's (Summa Cum Laude) from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005; I was a double major in English and Spanish, with a minor in History. While an undergraduate, I babysat, taught preschool, and worked as a tutor in the UL writing center.
