"I am a yoga teacher and dance artist with a passion for bringing accessible and invigorating movement into the lives of children and adults alike. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of the Arts and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Kripalu School of Yoga. I have been teaching in yoga studios and community centers for over three years and have over five years of experience teaching movement to children.

As a lover of movement, one of my greatest joys is being able to share that love with others. It is important to me to pass on any knowledge that I can on these movement practices that have had such a positive impact on my life. I strive to allow students to find movement that suits them and their needs. I place a strong emphasis on movement having the power to build people up, make them feel good, and walk away from any movement and mindfulness practice with a sense of accomplishment and appreciation for themselves.

I have spent my entire life as a movement practitioner, beginning dance lessons in childhood and finding yoga as a teenager. I am very interested in understanding how the body works and have completed courses and research in anatomy and physiology and movement science. I believe our body is our first teacher and that we should trust and listen to what it needs. The science behind movement can guide us in that understanding.
