"I graduated high school with a 4.000 GPA, earned a 33 on the ACT (35 on the math section), and was in the top 4% of my graduating class. I also earned a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam. I am now at UT Austin studying as a Chemistry Major and currently have a 4.000 GPA and am part of a selective Research Program. I am passionate about both calculus and chemistry. Last semester, I finished with a 100 in Honors Multivariable Calculus, Sequences, and Series at my university.

I have done paid one-on-one tutoring for middle school students in middle school math (ages 12-14), but I informally tutored many of my peers in Calculus in a classroom setting, especially around the time of AP testing. I did volunteer tutoring as part of the National Honor Society during high school in both chemistry and calculus. My approach to tutoring is very student-based—I want them to tell me how I can best help them. I will also patiently walk students through any problems/concepts they find difficult, having them repeat what I do for their retention of the material. Most of all, I want me and the student to have open communication about what style of learning works best for them.
