"I have been a language teacher for the past twenty years, and I have worked with students from ages 4 to adult. I am a CELTA certified ESL teacher, and I have an emergency teaching credential for elementary level students. I speak Spanish, French and Haitian Creole and I am excited to help you meet your language goals. As a language teacher, I believe the student should be at the center of every interaction in order to give them every possible opportunity to speak the target language. I am patient and friendly and will make learning a fun experience. I also enjoy cooking, running, and hiking.

I have a CELTA certificate through Cambridge university and have taught ESL for over 15 years that children and adults alike.

I majored in Hispanic Literature at McGill University in the beautiful French-speaking city of Montreal. While at McGill I studied French and used it on a daily basis. I have also spent the last several years doing volunteer work in the Dominican Republic for several months out of the year, which has allowed me to further sharpen my Spanish language skills.
