My son is a junior at a NYC private school who is taking a regular physics class (although they use an AP physics text book and is very math (although not calculus) based). Although he is a good science student, he has a very poor, inexperienced teacher whose field is not even physics - and he has a heavy schedule and not enough time in the day to try to teach himself the subject (if that were even possible) and needs help. Unfortunately he has a very full schedule and is not home from school any day of the week before 7 at the earliest, and some days after 9, so he would really need to meet on weekends (we live on the East 75th Street). He took SAT IIs in both Bio and Chem so will not be taking the physics - but needs help to do well in the course.
