We have a freshman son at St Viators that is struggling. He lived with his never-home father in Indiana through junior high and never learned a single study habit. How do you feel about teaching study habits/skills? Ideally it would be a long term commitment - meet with him on a regular basis - 3 - 5 days a week and keep in touch by phone or email - to set out goals, then make sure the path to reach those goals are followed. His weakest subject is Spanish. We live off of Palatine Rd just east of Arlington Hts.
