We have a freshman son at St Viators that is struggling. He lived with his never-home father in Indiana through junior high and never learned a single study habit. How do you feel about teaching study habits/skills? Ideally it would be a long term commitment - meet with him on a regular basis - 3 - 5 days a week and keep in touch by phone or email - to set out goals, then make sure the path to reach those goals are followed. His weakest subject is Spanish. We live off of Palatine Rd just east of Arlington Hts. If this is not for you maybe you could suggest someone who might be interested?
