Hi Elena. I am writing you about my 9 year old son. He has been struggling with reading and writing. I started homeschooling him after he started to struggle in 1st grade. We have been working hard for a few years and his reading has improved alot, but his writing & spelling skills need alot of improvement. He is sensitive and does not like to fail at anything. I feel like having his Mom teach him, also causes him stress. Since I am new to homeschooling I have tried several different curriculums. I think if one is not helping or working I will try another, but that is probably not the best way. I feel overwhelmed and confused and want him to succeed. I am not sure what your schedule is and I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. I live in Buena and have a pretty flexible schedule during the school year. Thanks so much.
